How To: Gel Manicure At Home

I used to be the girl who would always go to the nail salon to get her nails done. Although I loved the look of gel nails, I didn’t like the process of removing the gel nail polish, putting my hands in the UV light, & having to go to the salon every few weeks to have touch up my nails.

One day I was walking through my local CVS, and the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish caught my eye. I found a shade that I thought would look pretty for Fall/Winter and I also picked up the top coat. I wasn’t expecting a lot from this nail polish, and I figured it would be like any other kind. I was wrong. This nail polish is amazing.

First of all, I love how there is no UV Light involved with this nail polish. I don’t like putting my hands under the light at the nail salon and I wanted to find a gel nail polish where it was not needed.

The application is so easy. I apply two coats of the Wine colored miracle gel nail polish and then one coat of the top coat. Boom! After the nail polish is dry, it is so shiny and looks just like gel nails. I kept getting compliments and I shocked my friends when I told them that I did them at home.
