8 Ways To Prepare For Fall

I can’t believe Fall is right around the corner. This summer flew by! Fall is my favorite season so I am happy that summer is almost over. The only thing that I’ll miss about it Summer Friday’s at my office (we get out at 2 pm on Friday’s in the summer – how great is that!?) Alright, here is a quick checklist of some things that you can do to prepare for Fall.

8 ways to prepare for fall
1. Go through your closet & organize it

It is already getting a little chilly where I live so it’s time to put away my summer clothes & take out my sweaters. This is also the perfect time to go through your clothes & see if there is anything that you didn’t wear all summer. If there are a couple of items that you didn’t touch & you aren’t planning on wearing it ever again, donate it or sell it! It is jus taking up room in your closet

2. Make a Fall playlist

I don’t know about you guys, but I tend to listen to different music in Fall. There’s nothing like walking through New York City in the crisp cool weather & playing some relaxing acoustic music. Make a Fall playlist on Spotify. Leave me a comment below if you would like me to share mine.

3. Go Fall candle shopping

Bring on all of the pumpkin candles. Go ahead, treat yourself & pick one up.

4. Bring out all of the cozy blankets

If you have your fuzzy blankets in storage, grab them & set them on your couch & bed. There is nothing better than making your place all cozy for Fall.

5. Read a spooky Book series or Harry Potter

There is nothing that gets me into the Fall mindset like re-reading Harry Potter or Salem’s Lot.

6. Write down some goals for Fall

Is there something that you would love to achieve during Fall? Write your goals down. Set a day every single week to reflect on your goals or look at them every single morning.

7. Make a Fall bucket list

I have already made a list of fun activities that I want to do for Fall such as make Apple Cider sangria, go pumpkin picking & more. You should too.

8. Go shopping for clothes for Fall

Pick up some sweaters or a nice new pair of jeans. I just purchased new over the knee black boots & I cannot wait to wear these. It will definitely get you in the Fall mood. I will be posting a post soon on my favorite Fall clothing items this year. Be on the look out for that 🙂
