I work a 9-5 that I absolutely love, but working from home has made me realize all I do is.. work. I want to become “that girl”. The girl who prioritizes her health and well being. Do you want to as well? I’m a true believer in that we should just get started. Stop talking about it. Start doing. So let’s start with optimizing our morning routine. 🙂
That Girl Morning Routine – Step 1: Wake up one hour earlier than you normally do
I’m not going to tell you to wake up at 5 or 6 am. Let’s start with just one hour earlier. I typically wake up at 8:30 am, so I am going to aim for 7:30 am starting tomorrow.
That Girl Morning Routine – Step 2: A big glass of water
A hydrated body is a happy body. Let’s start with a big ole glass of water. I don’t know about you, but the second I start sipping some water the morning, my body starts feeling better.
That Girl Morning Routine – Step 3: 30 minutes of movement
Let’s just start with 30 minutes. It can be a walk, yoga, pilates, anything. This will start the morning off in the right way.
That Girl Morning Routine – Step 4: Shower and get ready for the day
I feel much more productive if I change out of my pajamas and get ready for the day. Doesn’t have to be a full face of makeup, but it totally can be. Some days I’ll choose a dress. Other dyas I’ll choose a cute loungewear set.
That Girl Morning Routine – Step 5: Soul time
This can be prayer, meditation, writing down things you’re grateful for, anything to keep your soul happy.

Fuel your body 🙂
That Girl Morning Routine – Step 7: Review or write to-do list
Think about your goals. Now think about what small steps you can do to take action towards them and write down your to-do list. If you are to-do list at night person, then review your to-do list in the morning

Get to work, studying, or whatever thing you’d like to accomplish. I hope you’re feeling great.
